Well-known designer and developer Anthony Carrino, from HGTV’s Kitchen Cousins and Ellen DeGeneres’s The Build Up, began a one-of-a-kind design project when he decided to turn an old firehouse station into his new, Jersey home. The project, TheBuild.tv, began in 2017 as a simple initial space plan and after nearly a year and a half of work, the project is coming to a close.
The entire ‘build’ has been documented by Carrino himself, with episodes airing on his YouTube channel and Instagram – @thebuild.tv. In the series, Carrino takes you on a step-by-step journey, discussing his thought process along the way; including why he chooses certain material and design styles to install in his home, as well as important considerations and precautions you should take when designing a home.
