Black Forest Cheesecake – recipes by Frames of sugar

2018-07-03

Antonella of Frames of sugar sweetens this July afternoon for us.

The blogger delights our sweet tooth today with a truly special chocolate and cherry cheesecake.

“One of the many cheesecakes I had been wanting to make for the past couple of years was this black forest cheesecake, which, in my imagination, was meant to be cool but ”chocolatey”, a little bit crunchy (the plain ice cream with cherry sauce and the crunchy chocolate coating) that I used to have almost every day in summer as a little girl.”

Antonella crumbled a bar of dark chocolate, crushed the biscuits and mixed the cake on a truly special work surface: a SapienStone countertop in the Light Earth texture, with a textured yet radiant look.

“These countertops are beautiful to look at and photograph, but also very useful, as they are non-scratch, stain-proof, and resistant to heat and acids: I cut the dark chocolate directly on the countertop without scratching it, cut the cherries and sour cherries without worrying about staining it red with their juice (which normally stains all kinds of surfaces), just wiping up the juice with a cloth.”

If you’re already licking your lips just looking at the photos, you really ought to check out the recipe on the blog Frames of sugar and get to work!
