SapienStone Wow's By-Passers At Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2022

2022-02-12

February was an exciting time in the kitchen and bath industry. More than 600 brands and companies filled the halls of the Orange County Convention Center in the great sunshine state to show off the latest kitchen and bath trends and innovations for the industry!

Even if you weren’t able to attend KBIS, you might have seen some of the magic unveil through your social media feeds. If you missed out, here is our roundup of need-to-know trends from SapienStone in 2022!

SapienStone exhibited a breathtaking booth that was designed entirely out of our porcelain slabs from top to bottom. Our bookmatch display of Arabescato "Moon" was extremely admired. People loved the simplistic, modern vibe of the decor and were very excited to integrate both the Arabescato bookmatch and Calacatta Macchia Vecchia bookmatch into upcoming design projects. Visit our SapienStone Colors and Finishes Collection to view our selection of bookmatches.

The booth featured interactive installations and showcased Hypertouch for the very first time. Attendees were stunned by this feature and enjoyed seeing it in action. By lightly tapping the ceramic surface, they were able to switch lighting on and off in the booth, thanks to HyperTouch’s easy-to-use technology.

Chef Ceballos also wowed attendees with a cooking demonstration using an induction cooktop by Invisacook. This demonstration allowed viewers to experience the heat resistance capabilities of SapienStone’s porcelain countertops and how it pairs perfectly with an Invisacook induction cooktop. KBIS guests raved how this application created an ultra-modern appearance with its seamless look and feel.

The ladies at HW Interiors had a blast walking around the SapienStone booth, checking out our latest features and diving deeper into the design aspects of how they would style our new pieces. See their full IG Takeover in our IG Highlight Story "Designer Takeover."

SapienStone also showcased the newly released Seminato Collection and was widely admired for its natural, minimalistic look. This collection replicates the look of terrazzo and features three designs: Seminato Candido, Seminato Nero, and Seminato Beige.

Our White Calacatta kitchen installation was also a huge hit as attendees were shocked when they realized the Rovere Buckskin island was porcelain, and not actual wood. SapienStone offers a variety of colors that replicate wood, cement, terrazzo and more!
